1) Turn knob to pilot setting
2) Push in knob and hold for 8-10 seconds
3) Keeping the knob pushed in, hold down the red ignitor button
4) After the pilot lights, keep the knob pushed in another 6-8 seconds
5) Turn knob from pilot to large flame setting
